Welcome to the picturesque Senja Pagi Cafe And Glamping, a hidden gem nestled in the enchanting landscape of Magelang, Jawa Tengah. Located at Jl. Grabag - Kopeng, the cafe boasts breathtaking views of majestic mountains including Merbabu, Andong, and Telomoyo, making it a perfect spot for nature lovers and sunset chasers alike.
The charm of Senja Pagi is not just in its scenic backdrop, but also in its inviting atmosphere. As one of the few spots where you can indulge in delicious food while soaking in the beauty of the surrounding nature, it's an ideal getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. However, don’t forget your jacket—it's known for its refreshing cool air!
Upon entering the cafe, guests are greeted with two distinct areas; the front cafe area, perfect for a casual hangout, and the enchanting back area accessible for a small entrance fee. This rear section opens doors to a realm of photo opportunities, a mini strawberry garden, and playful interactions with adorable animals like rabbits and deer. But the true highlight here is undeniably the stunning sunsets that paint the sky in breathtaking hues every evening.
As for the culinary experience, reviews are a mix of praise and constructive feedback. Customers rave about specific items like the grilled bread—unquestionably a hit—while others express disappointment with dishes like the undercooked banana fritters and churros that left much to be desired. It appears that while some menu offerings shine, others might need a bit more refinement to match the grandeur of the vistas.
Among beverages, the ginger milk has won hearts, while the matcha latte seems to falter. It's a mixed bag, but the attentive and friendly service staff help create a warm ambiance that compensates for some culinary inconsistencies.
In summary, Senja Pagi Cafe And Glamping is more than just a cafe; it’s an experience. Although the food can be hit or miss, the striking natural beauty, friendly service, and the unique combination of glamping and dining make it an irresistible destination. Whether you're here for a casual meal, a serene escape, or to catch the magical sunset, it promises a memorable outing that is well worth the journey.

First Food : I ordered chicken soup and fried rice. The seasoning for chicken soup is good enough, delicious, but for the fried rice i think the garlic is so strong, but it's ok. Second, beverage : Its better to order hot or warm drink because it is so cold here. Dont forget to bring a jacket or sweater. Third, The View : The view is amazing. I really like the view, you can see several mountains here, such as mount merbabu, mount andong, and mount telomoyo. You can get a good picture for hunting sunset here. And then the price for food and beverage is cheap.

The air is refreshing, the view is great. The place is just okay. The food takes a while to make, and taste is just so. The place has a cute design, but sadly the cleaniness needs improvement. The bathroom especially needs cleaning. Clearimg tables takes a bit too long. But there's a place where family can enjoy activities in the garden with additional 15k. The parking is 5k.

I came from the city, and yes, it's quite a long drive, but I'd say it was pretty worth it, especially for catching the sunset view from here. There are two main areas, first is the front cafe area. Is free to enter and good for just hanging out. However, the view is very limited, mostly just the indoor area and the parking lot. Second is the back area requires an entrance fee of IDR 15,000 per person, but it offers much more in return. You get a scenic mountain view, photo spots, a mini strawberry garden, a kids' playground, and lots more seating options (including a second floor!). There are also animals like rabbits and deer, and you can feed them with food buckets sold for IDR 5,000 each. As for the food, it was a mixed experience. 1. The banana fritters were undercooked. The banana was raw and the batter wasn’t crispy. 2. The churros, still tasted like raw dough and the chocolate dip reminded me of cheap chocolate from traditional markets. 3. The cireng was tasty, quite standard, but enjoyable. 4. The grilled bread was great! Generous fillings and toppings. For drinks, I really liked the ginger milk, but the matcha latte was very underwhelming. Not worth the price, and the presentation was lacking too. On the bright side, the service was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. There’s also a spacious parking area for both cars and motorcycles. Toilets are available, both sitting and squat types.

You must reserve before you go here. It opens at 6.30 am, I arrived there a bit late, around 6.45 am, and there were a lot of people already. If you didn't reserve, I guess you can only sit on the first floor outside. But if you already reserved, just go to the second floor and find your name written on the table. The more person, the cheaper the price. The breakfast menu included snack, drink, and main menu. I went with my mom and my son, and it cost me 150,000 rupiah/person to have breakfast here. The food is just so so. You just buy the view. But I admit, it is amazing. Worth it.
